This site is owned by a 36 year old Ph.D. student in the School of Library & Information Science at Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana.  I’m married and have no kids.

This hopefully will serve as a repository of research interests, class papers, personal information and other miscellaneous information.   You are here because you’ve chosen to be here, so don’t blame me for your reaction.

My broad research interests include human-computer interaction, social informatics, information architecture, networking and information visualization as it pertains to the entire information life cycle. My current work has involved exploring the theories, frameworks, and methods used to examine management of social relationships in social network sites (SNS). I’m particularly interested in Erving Goffman’s concept of impression management.
